About Mastermodels

Mastermodels is a family owned business specialising in the manufacture of all kinds of models. The company has it’s roots back in the 1960′s when we established our unrivaled reputation by making superb models for the now classic Stingray, Thunderbirds and Joe 90 television series. Models for pioneering films like 2001- A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, Superman and Aliens followed. In addition to our screen special effects work, museums around the world beat a path to our door. As a result, our fine models can be seen in museums across the globe… spacecraft models in the Science Museum, London, aircraft models in The Smithsonian, Washington and interactive animated displays in The Science Museum, Taiwan to name just a few. Mastermodels are equally at home hand-crafting exquisite museum pieces or machining highly complex parts for an injection mould tool.
