We want to help children in middle school make college plans, then set goals for their high school years and achieve the skills and scores needed to make all that happen. To us, a college degree should be a standard achievement for each and every student. We want our students to expect a bright future – and prepare for that future – while they are still pre-teens. While owning a national tutoring franchise, founder Zena Smith saw students continue to struggle due to rigid, cut-and-dried formulas. Because Zena truly wanted to make a difference in her students’ lives, she created MASTERS PLUS Tutoring Program, a unique and revolutionary program that helps students not only earn better grades and test scores, but actually gives them the critical thinking and problem-solving skills they need to succeed throughout their lives. When we reach struggling students as early as possible and teach effective and lifelong study skills and learning strategies, their new confidence helps to motivate them – and this begins a self-perpetuating cycle of academic excellence.
