Welcome to CSUN Formula SAE! Matador Motorsports is the Formula SAE team at California State University, Northridge. Our team of student engineers designs, builds, tests, validates, and races a Formula SAE rule-compliant racing vehicle aimed to compete in the SAE International Formula series against other universities throughout the United States and other countries around the globe. Established in 1988 Matador Motorsports has been the stepping stone for countless success stories created by students. Many of our team alumns have been hired by well-established companies including Honda Performance Development, Mercedes AMG Petronas F1, NASA, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and many more. We believe that our efforts will shine in the engineering industry as we continue our journey to compete.
