About Matera Foundation
The Matera Foundation is a Not-For-Profit (NFP) social enterprise established in February 2015 and has been established to meet and address the growing lack of opportunity for Indigenous Australians to actively participate in the growth of the Australian economy through a Transition to Employment Plan (TEP). The Matera Foundation seeks to pick-up the process of screening, selection and preparation for placement of those Indigenous persons who may have skills and attributes but not be seen or considered as a ‘viable option’ or a minimal risk candidate for an employer.
