One of the company’s founders, Keith Bow, was a forklift operator, so he understands as feet on the ground that material-handling safety issues are a very real thing and that the cost of rework can run in the tens of thousands of dollars per year or per incident. That’s how our ForkSADDLE and ForkBLOCK products came into being. Keith wanted a safer way to move odd-shaped and large cylindrical loads, and there wasn’t anything on the market that answered the call. Keith and co-founder Ron Bow put their minds to research and development. What they found is an incredibly tough material that also offered flexibility that would mold to the shape of the load, but bounce back to its original shape quickly. The material is a proprietary closed cell material, the base material that in many applications that provides the right properties and capabilities that every material-handler needs. From that point on, Ron and Keith’s passion for providing innovative solutions combined with this new material set them on a path to apply it in places and products where it hasn’t been considered before.
