About Mates in Mind

At Mates in Mind, we work with organisations to build positive mental health in and through work. We do this by providing the skills, clarity and confidence to raise awareness, improve understanding, implement effective interventions and address the stigma of mental ill-health. This includes empowering all employees through providing them with the information, education and advice that develops their competence and confidence to look after their own and their colleagues’ mental health, so that no-one reaches crisis point and good mental health becomes everyone’s responsibility. Since 2016, we have worked in collaboration with hundreds of UK organisations in higher risk sectors including, construction, transport and logistics, manufacturing, fire and security, agriculture and farming, and more, to create environments and cultures that promote positive mental health because everyone matters. We are a registered charity (England and Wales (No. 1172460) and Scotland (No. SC047778)) that provides clear information to employers on available support and guidance on mental health, mental illness and mental wellbeing, and how they can address this within their organisations.
