About MathCON
MathCON is an innovative mathematics platform, including a competition series and educational resources and opportunities for students and educators, developed to enhance mathematics education. Our vision is to build a collaborative mathematics community for students and educators in order to support, advocate, and influence STEM education in the U.S. to pave the way for the 21st century generation of problem-solvers. _________________________________________________________________________________ MathCON is a nationwide mathematics competition for students grades 5-12. MathCON has two rounds, Online and Finals: The First round of the competition is Online and will be held at each of the participating schools, scheduled by the administering teacher. The test will be taken by each student, individually, online. The online test consists of 45 math questions to be taken in 45 minutes, timed. The Second round is Finals and will be held ‘on-site’. Finals is open to students with a minimum qualifying Online score and is a paper-based test. Individuals and classroom teams from charter schools, private schools, and public schools are eligible to compete in MathCON. Home school students are welcome to participate as well.
