About Mather Hospital
Mather Hospital is an accredited 249-bed community teaching hospital that has twice earned Magnet® recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for quality patient care, nursing excellence and innovations in professional nursing practice. The hospital provides state-of-the-art care in bariatrics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, robotic surgery, breast health, mental health and emergency services. Mather also operates Precision CyberKnife of New York in partnership with New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. The hospital cared for more than 12,500 inpatients and over 37,000 emergency patients last year. Mather Hospital is ANCC “PTAP” certified. Mather also has two outpatient Wound Care Treatment Centers, a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy unit and a Sleep Disorders Center.
