In 2014, a new firm started its successful operation in Athens under the name NGSQ as a part of NGSQ Intl. LLC USA, founded by Dr. Nick Kondakis. In 2018, a growing NGSQ firm incorporated in Greece as Mathisys Technologies Hellas in preparation to join forces with Mathisys - consisting of the Quantitative Hedge Fund Mathisys Capital LLP and it's advisor Mathisys Advisors LLC. Mathisys is a merger of outstanding professionals from Quadeye Trading LLC and Liberty Capital. All seven partners of Mathisys have extensive experience in Quantitative and Algorithmic trading in global markets – collectively more than 100 years – and in a wide range of asset classes, including equities and derivatives, commodities, FOREX and Fixed Income. Mathisys Technologies Hellas is set up as a Quantitative and Algorithmic Trading Research center for Mathisys and complements it’s research, development, support and production locations in New York, New Delhi, and Shanghai. Mathisys team designs advanced dynamic and adaptive models, creates and implements trading strategies using highly optimized and sophisticated trading systems capable to take advantage of changing and volatile markets. Mathisys carries the full legacy of the powerful strategies (in High Frequencies as well as in Medium Frequencies and Statistical Arbitrage) domains developed over the past ten-plus years at Liberty, NGSQ, and Quadeye. One of the partners is Dr. Nicholas Kondakis, President & CEO of Mathisys Technologies Hellas, Director of two quantitative hedge funds and CEO & President of NGSQ International in New York, a consulting firm specializing in designing and deploying state-of-the-art quantitative algorithmic investment strategies in the global financial markets.
