About Matices Cultural Center
Matices Cultural Center (MCC) is a nonprofit organization created with the purpose of promoting the construction of a pedagogical, artistic and community project in the Phoenix, Arizona area. The idea was born from a perceived lack of art directed to the Latin population in the state, MCC is one of the few centers oriented to the Hispanic community in their language. Our goal is to show the viewer a work of art that allows them to learn, and where the public's interest is reflected on the group through their commitment. Our focus on this is based on researches to collaborate in the development of a social fabric, which will generate opportunities for growth while strengthening the cultural development of the community. Part of our work has been providing courses of action for all ages. We have also maintained an annual production of shows and we try to develop workshops with local and foreign teachers.
