About Matrix Development Australia Pty
Matrix Development Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian division of Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad (MCHB). MCHB has been operating as a public listed property developer in Malaysia since 1996. In less than two decades, the group has not only flourished in the property development sector, but also branched out into other industries, such as construction, education and hospitality. Due to its exceptional national track record, Matrix decided to go global and expand its development footprint into several countries abroad, with Melbourne being its main focal point. [M.Carnegie] In June 2016, Matrix launched its first foray into the Melbourne market with the development of M.Carnegie. Comprising 52 low rise boutique apartments, M.Carnegie is situated on 1,885 square meters of land, just 15km away from the heart of Melbourne, with convenient access into the city via public transport. The development was 100% sold upon completion in 2018. [M.Greenvale] Building on the success of M.Carnegie, MCHB decided to continue expanding its development footprint in Melbourne by launching M.Greenvale, a land & house project, in the second quarter of 2020. The project consists of 79 bungalow lots, spread across a 10-acre land. 30% of the lots were sold during the overseas soft launch in 2019 and the remaining lots were completely sold out in April 2021 to local buyers. [M333 St Kilda] Coming up next is M333, a low rise boutique apartment block in St Kilda, a well-known bayside suburb just 7km from the CBD. Designed by award-winning architect RotheLowman, M333 marks yet another milestone for MCHB, playing a key role in not only strengthening the MCHB brand Australia-wide, but also providing locals and investors alike, the confidence that MCHB’s plans for Melbourne are long-term. The construction of the project is expected to be completed by Q4 2024.
