One that moves people, builds trust, and leaves something behind. This is The Resistance. I help brands harness documentary storytelling to cut through the noise. Not polished ads or disposable content - but films that humanise, connect, and endure. I’ve seen how this format can tell meaningful brand stories, launch products, grow communities, and create belief that lasts far beyond any campaign cycle. Because ads are consumed and forgotten. Documentaries are felt and remembered. They don’t just sell - they shift perception, spark emotion, and deepen loyalty. In a world leaning synthetic, this matters more than ever. My background as Co-Founder and Creative Partner at The Cowboys helped shaped this philosophy. For over a decade we thrived by being outlaws - tearing up the rule book, pushing back against the expected, and finding new ways to connect. That spirit of rebellion and liberation is what I’m carrying forward. This time it’s aimed squarely at the rise of AI and the drift toward the fake - by doubling down on the most authentic form of communication we have, and the one my heart is pulling me toward: documentary storytelling. Alongside brand work, I also create original documentaries - from my award-winning debut Ghost Town Cricket to my first feature now in pre-production. These projects keep me close to the craft, but the motivation is always the same - to tell stories with soul, and make storytelling a force for authenticity, humanity, and real impact.
