MSDO see that joy and craft are core to all great design. We work to create spaces that delight and enchant. MSDO works across a range of project types: we create beautifully crafted interiors for exceptional client’s with a commit to unique design outcomes. We specialise in hospitality, hotel, commercial co-work and residential projects internationally and in Singapore. Our studio has been born from over 20 years of experience as a passionate group of designers based in Singapore. The practices directors, Matthew Shang an Paul Semple have formed MSDO as continuation of the legacy that was born out of Distillery Studio. Matthew Shang is an interior designer based who has been based in Singapore for more than 20 years. Supported by director Paul Semple, also with more than 20 years experience, our team has been responsible for creating projects such as Manhattan Bar, Revolver Restaurant, Hamamoto, Junior Bar, 28 Hong Street, The Club Hotel and the classic Malmaison by The Hour Glass. Our international view, detailed industry knowledge and experience across multiple sectors of the design allow us to be innovation and thought provoking design at a international level. Client’s come to us to create uniquely tailored spaces and solutions that bring joy. Our current active projects in locations that range from Singapore, Taipei, Sydney, Tokyo, Melbourne and London.
