About Matty Sunshine Sound Healing

Hi there, and welcome! My name is Matthew (or Matty) - a certified, West Michigan-based Sound Healing Practitioner and owner of Matty Sunshine Sound Healing. I’m excited to have you here with me as I share my passion for pairing sounds, frequencies, and vibrations with positive intentions to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. The ancient practice of sound healing is based on the principle that everything in the universe is comprised of energy and vibration, and that sound can be used to balance this energy inside each of us. Sound healing can harmonize the multiple frequencies naturally running throughout our bodies by using specific frequencies to stimulate our natural healing mechanisms. Different frequencies are believed or proven to have different healing effects, so sound healers use various instruments to produce these frequencies on and/or around the body to promote healing. These tools often include tuning forks, gongs, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, wind chimes, Tingsha cymbals, drums, and even the human voice. As you follow along, we’ll learn more about the positive impacts of sound healing together while I share info about my instruments/tools, healing practices, services (currently including private and public sound baths and 1:1 tuning fork therapy sessions), events, and other opportunities for us to connect through sound.
