About Maui Ku'ia Estate Chocolate
Our cacao farm is located within the Ku’ia ahupua’a, or traditional Hawaiian land division. We have more than 8,000 trees spread across twenty-plus acres and have won two consecutive gold awards at the prestigious international Cacao of Excellence competition. Our farm provides the raw material for our award-winning chocolate, which is produced at our Lahaina bean to bar chocolate factory. We have won two Good Food awards: one for our 70% dark Maui grown and another for our 70% dark Semuliki Forest Uganda origin. All of our chocolate is produced right here in our entirely solar-powered chocolate factory. It is our privilege to be able to give back to the community in which our delicious chocolate is made, by donating 100 percent of our net profit to Maui charities and nonprofit community organizations.
