About Maven Fishing
Maven was born in Auckland, New Zealand in 2007. Our passions are design, technology and fishing, and we set out to bring these together, creating the finest fishing rod imaginable. We value classic styling and simplicity, attention to detail and hand craftsmanship, and you’ll see all these in our rods. We wanted to create rods that would be truly treasured, and bring many years of enjoyment. Our team works from a wonderful facility situated on the edge of native bushland in Auckland, New Zealand. We use world leading CTS New Zealand rod blanks, and only the best rod componentry, to create fishing rods of unmatched quality and performance.
