Maxi Haulage Ltd. is a subsidiary of Maxi Group Ltd., a privately owned Company with our Head Office in Irvine, Scotland. We also have operational locations in Bellshill, Immingham, Warrington, Wrexham, Birmingham, Warwick and Dublin. The Group also have a building construction business based in Livingston and also undertake property development and management. Maxi Haulage Ltd. was incorporated in 1974 and in 1976, along with its’ sister company, Caledonian Vehicle Delivery Service Ltd., joined forces with Maxi Construction Ltd. to form the Maxi Group of Companies. We have developed from a £250,000 turnover construction company and a 19 vehicle truck operation to a multi million pound Group, ranking high in the league tables of privately owned Scottish companies. Last year, as a Group, we made around a £4 million profit on a £42 million turnover. The Group has continually reinvested its profits in the business to produce a strong balance sheet with low gearing. The Group has the benefit of a very stable, long-serving team of employees, maintains in-house IT and environmental and quality departments as well, and a central accounting function to back the operational management. All the activities in the Maxi Group Haulage Division operate under a common management structure, utilising the same central computer, providing a totally integrated haulage, warehousing and logistics business.
