About Maxs Foundation

Max’s Foundation is dedicated to helping detection of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other heart conditions in pre-adolescent children. We also aim to help support those families who are affected by these conditions. The charity funds individual projects within these areas. We are voluntarily run and 100% of our donations are used for funding our chosen projects. Sponsor one of our events … either in its entirety or just one element – maybe a hole sponsorship at our Golf Day or the drinks reception at the annual dinner, or even the whole evening. You will benefit from brand/business exposure and our deepest gratitude. We can assure you that your contribution will make a real and positive difference to young lives. Donate goods or services – we always need raffle and auction prizes to help us raise money to achieve our goal. Or maybe you provide some help at an event – anything from entertainment to room decorations, from donating a space for us to use to providing things to fill it! Our Ambassador is Dr Juan Pablo Kaski Dr Kaski is a consultant paediatric cardiologist and head of the Centre for Inherited Cardiovascular Diseases at Great Ormond Street Hospital, the largest centre in the UK dedicated to the evaluation and management of the full range of inherited cardiac conditions in children. His clinical and research interests are focused on the clinical and genetic characterisation of inherited cardiovascular disease and sudden cardiac death in childhood. He won the Young Investigator Award for Clinical Science from the European Society of Cardiology in 2008 for his work on the genetic basis of pre-adolescent hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
