About Mayanot Institute of Jewish Studies
Mayanot was founded to cultivate an awareness of Jewish identity and a passion for the Jewish people by creating a Jewishly educated leadership. At Mayanot, students of diverse backgrounds study together in an open yet academically challenging environment. Students are encouraged to question, challenge and explore three thousand years of Jewish wisdom and apply it to contemporary society. This deep immersion nurtures a love for Torah, the Jewish people, Judaism and the Land of Israel. Graduates of Mayanot programs have been active on 120 campuses and 150 communities worldwide, encouraging more young Jews to participate in Jewish life and inspiring commitment to Judaism and Israel.
