About Mayine e Afrika Foundation
"Mayine e Afrika" means "let it rain in Africa." At Mayine, we are dedicated to creating a safe space for children, we have named that space "igumbi lama2k," meaning a room for children born on and after the year 2000, in our community. This initiative primarily serves New Crossroads, Nyanga, Philippi, and surrounding areas. We uniquely raise awareness about the importance of nurturing mental, emotional, and physical well-being from an early age. Our observations have indicated that a lack of mental fitness education can lead to broken homes and reckless behaviors, adversely affecting the upbringing of children and impacting their daily lives. Mayine serves as a crucial link between children and the individuals or facilities equipped to support their development, providing children with the necessary tools to effectively handle life's challenges and foster a more resilient community
