The foundations of MB Holding, which has led technology and innovations by breaking new ground in the fields of Construction, Textile, Energy, Ready-Mixed Concrete, Perlite and Greenhouse, were laid when MB Holding Honorary President Muharrem Balat founded Muharrem Balat Construction Company in 1968. MB Holding has spent half a century of its business life as a pioneer of innovations and environmentally friendly production. In this sense, MB Holding, which established Turkey's first private geothermal power plant, is also the first company to implement the greenhouse project heated by geothermal resources. İnper Perlit, which it founded in 1997, is the first and only perlite expansion service provider in the Southeastern Anatolia region. As of 2019, while establishing the first geothermal power plant in Croatia with the project initiated with the principle of using the natural resources provided by nature to humankind efficiently, it continues to produce and develop with the power it receives from its employees.
