‘MBU Ltd. for interbank services (MeđuBankarske Usluge) and information engineering’ was founded in the late 1993 at initiative of 23 Croatian banks, through expert bodies of the Associations of Banks at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce with the purpose of coordinating, designing, developing and operating common infrastructure to support bank card operations in Croatia.
