The Mechanical Contractors Association of Detroit is a professional association representing contractors in mechanical and plumbing construction. MCA contractors work with the highly-qualified pipefitters, service technicians, and plumbers of Pipefitters Local Union 636 and Plumbers Local Union 98 to build the powerhouses that generate your electricity, as well as: * Install and service heating and air conditioning systems * Install piping wherever it's needed, from oil refineries, to pharmaceuticals, to food processing plants The Mechanical Contractors Association of Detroit serves as the voice of the mechanical and plumbing contracting industry. MCA of Detroit consists of about 90 union mechanical and plumbing contracting firms, whose members employ nearly 2000 pipefitters and plumbers from Local Union 636 and Local Union 98 in the Detroit Metropolitan area.
