McCarty Holsaple McCarty (MHM) is one of East Tennessee’s largest and most experienced full-service architectural, interior design, and planning firms. For 60 years, we’ve helped shape the region through thoughtful, enduring design that balances innovation with a deep respect for place. Founded by the late Bruce McCarty, an influential voice in Tennessee’s modern architectural movement, MHM continues his legacy through a collaborative team of 50 professionals led by Principals Nathan Honeycutt, Margaret Butler, John Thurman, Li Wang, and Aaron Miller. We proudly serve clients across East Tennessee, North Georgia, Southwest Virginia, Northern Alabama, East Kentucky, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
