McKINC PCB DESIGN LLC primarily specializes in PCB design. Our design team includes PCB Designers with 25 years of experience and over 30 years in the electro-mechanical design industry over all. Industries and experience range from military to server applications to home and appliances. Our team primarily has experience in a contract manufacturer environment. We established as a result of tiring from the big business clog and inefficiency. We are able to keep costs reasonable; we do not have to build in extra costs to cover high overhead from other business activity. Our aim is to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality designs. We will demonstrate that well designed boards are alive and available, that PCB design is still an art and not just the push of a button. With our 25 years experience working for a very large CM we have witnessed designs from all over and have seen all sorts of DFM issues time and time again. Knowing how to run PCB software does not equate to being a designer. Then the question arises of why have an EE rotating silkscreen and creating Fab and Assy drawings? Setting up artwork layers and checking soldermask allowances or not possibly. We think their time is better used elsewhere. Customers need results. That is why we do believe that a picture is worth a thousand words. We cannot show all or complete examples due to proprietary reasons but we can show enough for the eyes to pick up on the subtle details. See us on our website. We spent 18 years assisting Cobra Design & Engineering, Inc with their PCB Design business in a part-time capacity, to retain a PCB customer base, one of which is Leidos, formerly SAIC for all 18 years. We agreed the best option was to remain partnered but separate entities as we proceeded as a full time business. Cobra’s PCB customers will remain Cobra’s customers.
