About McNelis Architects

McNelis Architects is a boutique firm that welcomes the opportunity to design a range of project types. By limiting the number of projects taken on at one time we are able to focus and be responsive in every phase of design. Our focus is custom residential, multi-family lowrise, and smaller scale commercial projects. We have a particular interest in adaptive reuse for its role in the conservation of resources. We assist our clients from the early planning stages with feasibility and code studies through Architectural Design, Interior Design, Permitting and completion of construction. Since 1999, our office has been located in the commercial district of one of Seattle's larger urban neighborhoods, West Seattle, where it is easy to drop in and clients are always welcome to do so. We approach design challenges with creative enthusiasm and take pride in our one of a kind designs which have been termed understated and elegant (although we are capable of making a big statement as well!).
