About MCYM - The Exarchate of St.Ephrem, Khadki-Pune
Malankara Catholic Youth Movement (MCYM) is an association of youngsters (aged 15 to 30 years) of the globally spread Syro Malankara Catholic Church, which focuses on the development of the Youths, Church and the society. MCYM is working at the Unit, District, Diocesan and Church level. Established in 1968, the MCYM was formed as an endeavour to leverage the enthusiasm of young adults to boost the faith and development of the society at large. Today, MCYM actively organizes faith and community building exercises across four continents. The MCYM's mission is to continue the plan of salvation definitively begun by God the Father in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. The ultimate goal of this organization is to make this salvific historical plan available to humanity through the Malankara Catholic Church. Evangelization is the means to realize this. This organization aims at the total liberation of society and the integral development of Youth. MCYM - the Exarchate of St.Ephrem (headquartered in Khadki, Pune) is the organization which oversees all MCYM activities in the entire states of Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, together with major parts of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
