About MDisputes

Drawing on decades of experience in conflict management in some of the world’s most successful companies, we apply businessthinking to disputes. Our philosophy is that every dispute should have an estimate of the likely costs and outcome, and paths to a successful resolution. We also believe disputes present an opportunity to learn and adapt, in order to prevent conflicts from arising in the future. Through a dedicated staff and an international network of collaborators with global reputations in litigation, arbitration, and mediation, we provide support at every stage of international commercial conflicts, ranging from dispute prevention, early resolution, outside counsel, expert, arbitrator and mediator selection, cost management, arbitration and litigation financing, and energy transition and decarbonization disputes. With the same purpose, we organize tailor-made trainings to enable employees to effectively negotiate a contract or draft a document, thus preventing disputes from arising. And if disputes do arise, to be able to deal with them in the right way, from the very early stages. In this vein, we also provide pro bono guidance and support to national governments to improve access to justice for the citizenry and render the country more attractive to foreign investors. This can often be achieved through effective promotion of mediation and other ADR mechanisms that facilitate the rapid and low-cost settlement of disputes.
