We are residential, shared living and modular design and delivery specialists. Since the formation of MDLR Architects in 2012 we have established a proven track in the delivery of complex inner-city residential, shared living and mixed-use projects, maximizing planning gains and adding value by unlocking the full potential of sites with construction value from £50k of up to £20m. Our main aim is to exceed our clients and end-users expectations and we deliver results by applying our skills, experience, energy and creativity meticulously. As a result our work predominantly comes through repeat business and personal recommendations. We are experienced in the delivery of commercially sound, environmentally sensitive and well-designed spaces for people to live in. We have gained a reputation for the ability to successfully deliver, both at planning and construction stages, complex infill developments, sensitive refurbishments and challenging new build, offsite and air rights projects. Our residential and shared living sector experience covers the full spectrum from temporary accommodation for the homeless and social housing through office to residential conversions, PRS, shared and co-living, student accommodation to prime residential new-builds and refurbishments of historic central London properties. We have developed specialist skills covering all aspects of statutory and market requirements ranging from planning, inclusive design, sustainability and technical standards applicable to each project category and local authority. We have over a decade long extensive practical experience in modular design and modern methods of construction ranging from volumetric timber and steel frame, ISO container, through to panelised and engineered timber frame construction. We have been pioneering this before it became the latest buzzword and have a clear understanding of which projects MMC is a viable option and also the projects where it is not.
