About MDM Timber
An introduction to MDM Timber MDM Timber was established in 1989 as an independent Forest Products Importer and has grown from a "start up" business to today as a major player within the UK Timber industry. The sale of Softwood Timber accounts for approximately 65% of the company turnover with over 240,000m3 of stock being distributed from our timber terminal operation based at the Port of Shoreham on the south coast of England. From here deliveries are made throughout the south of England, the Midlands and south Wales, in quantities ranging from one pack to full loads. Our Panels Product sales are distributed from our "MDM Panels Hub" within the Port of Tilbury and again we offer a comprehensive stock range in any quantity from one pack and above. We are very proud members of TDUK (Formerly the Timber Trade Federation) and as such source approved Forest products under the "RPP" system (Responsible Purchasing Policy) which is an annually audited system. Over 90% of our products are either PEFC or FSC certified and we work ongoing to ensure compliance to UKTR regulations. Our steady growth throughout the last thirty years has been fuelled by a focus on the quality of services and competitive prices offered to our customers.
