About ME Sports in the Community
Providing sports coaching & activity based education & instruction to schools, pre-schools, colleges, clubs, councils, nurseries, community groups & independent organisations throughout Leicestershire & the Midlands. In schools, we are delivering an excellent standard of physical education as well as breakfast clubs, lunchtime clubs & after-school activities in a wide range of sports from football & rugby right through to gymnastics & dance. Our teacher training programmes are a popular way for schools to develop PE alongside staff We're also available to colleges, councils, clubs, & government funded or independent organisations for our qualified & experienced coaches to deliver sport specific or multi-sports sessions, whether it be a regular contract or simply a one-off event Our own regular multi-sports, dance, gymnastics & football clubs are held in venues throughout Leicestershire as well as a host of holiday clubs during the year. The football sector of ME Sports in the Community is the Matt Elliott Football Development Scheme, where Matt, in his capacity as Sports Director oversees our academies, development centres, soccer schools & casual clubs with the children benefiting from his experience as an ex-professional & international footballer Cycling Development is a recent addition to our product services, where cycling support can be provided in schools or the community by our team of expert instructors in the form of balance bike sessions, learn to ride programmes, basic cycling skills & bike maintenance workshops We also provide a number of pre-school & nursery settings with FUNdamental sports skills activities, CycleBugs, Mini Movers & our SoccerTots sessions are particularly popular Our extensive work within the community now sees us also delivering a number of adult activities such as walking football as well as cycling, running & walking clubs. On top of this we regularly deliver sports related qualifications, short-courses and adult learning.
