We work collaboratively with residents, partners, and stakeholders MCRC will implement actionable development strategies for the near and long-term benefit of the entire community. This includes: 1. Implement Strategic Projects: The MCRC will collaborate with community groups to support renovation of existing structures and development of new residential and commercial spaces that contribute to our downtown. 2. Improve Public Spaces: The MCRC will collaborate with community groups to facilitate place-based enhancements including lighting, sidewalks, greenspace, and public art that supports creative placemaking and placekeeping while resulting in a more attractive and accessible downtown. 3. Support Businesses: The MCRC will support development of a creative, vibrant downtown economy through business retention, resources, and recruitment. 4. Lead Branding and Marketing: The MCRC will promote Meadville as a destination for residents, visitors, and businesses guided by a marketing plan that highlights the unique assets and creates a cohesive identity for the area. 5. Engage the Community: The MCRC will foster connectivity across existing efforts to ensure that community voices are heard and supported through authentic partnerships.
