Impact Services, Meals on Wheels and More in Anoka County provides hot nutritious meals for our neighbors in need. We serve over 100,000 meals annually throughout Anoka County and Champlin over the lunch hour. The MORE is for programs like our wonderful Voices of Impact musical experience for persons with memory issues and their caregiver. The choir uses music as a way for those living with memory loss and their caregiver to reconnect through music and engage with others, to help overcome the feeling of social isolation. This group provides entertainment, comfort, support, and a feeling of community for all participants. Music is a universal language and very beneficial to those living with memory loss. Singing can improve communication between those with memory loss and their caregiver, creating a sense of vitality and positive emotions.
