Spearheaded by the three top-level creators comprised of an award-winning Creative director, a world-class touring musician, and a classically-trained composer, Mean Machine’s work is made in collaboration with a network of professional musicians and producers under their supervision. “We knew we could bridge the gap between creatives and music– with each composition having its own personality to match the spot or film – not only because of our combined level of experience, but because Martin and Devin have astute backgrounds as producers, composers, as well as professional touring musicians, and they have access to the best musician friends and colleagues in the industry,” says Clemente. After years of working in the creative advertising industry, Clemente recognized there was a disconnect between ad agencies and music creators. “The communication between the two is very involved and can be complicated. In essence, they speak two different languages. One doesn’t necessarily understand the other and that can be very frustrating.” Prior to his advertising career, Clemente was a musician and producer. Having a musical background enabled him to seamlessly translate between the two worlds of advertising and music.
