About Med Marine Holding
Turkish shipbuilder & Türkiye's leading tugboat operator Med Marine is a Turkish shipbuilder and Turkey's leading tugboat operator, providing a broad range of services in towage, pilotage and mooring in the busiest ports of Turkey for over 20 years. Med Marine's service areas are towage, pilotage, emergency response, salvage and wreck removal, pollution prevention, ship escort and chartering. Its fleet consists of ASD type and conventional tugs ranging from 30TBP to 70TBP. Med Marine employs Eregli Shipyard, one of the largest shipyards in Turkey, for building state-of-the-art technology tugboats and Stainless Steel (STST) IMO II type chemical/oil tankers either for its main operations, or global clients. Med Marine successfully completed the constructions and deliveries of over 200 projects including tugboats, chemical/oil tankers, mooring and pilot boats. Med Marine is capable of constructing tugboats up to +100 TBP; and mooring/work/pilot and crew boats. Med Marine is a member of European Tugowners Association since 1997, and a member of BIMCO since 2000. In addition, Med Marine was awarded ISO 9001 certification in January 2001 by BV. Moreover, in 2010, ISO 14001:2004 & OSHAS 18001:2007 certificates have been achieved.
