Medevent Ltd was founded in 2001 providing 3 distinct services - Event First Aid, Ambulance Transportation and Complex bespoke Care. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and at our recent inspection in Jan 23 were rated as Good. Since our move to new premises in Spring 2022 the Patient Transport side of our business has grown and we now operate a fleet of 14 PTS ambulances working predominantly for local NHS Hospital and Ambulance Trusts. We also provide ambulances for private journeys i.e. hospital visits, family visits, shopping trips, family events such as weddings etc. We are a also Qualsafe accredited centre for pre-hospital care courses. We have our own training room and can provide First Aid training, First Response Emergency Care courses (FREC 3, 4 & 5), Health & Safety training, catastrophic bleeding/mass casualty awareness. All our courses are delivered by State Registered Paramedics. We provide medical cover for Film/TV, sporting events, music events, local authority events. We can provide HCPC Paramedics, EMT's, ECA's, First Aiders, nurses and Doctors. Some of our recent contracts include: TV/Film - Jericho, Prey. DCI Banks, Happy Valley, Our Girl and No Offence. Events - Sheffield Wednesday Football matches, Open water swim contests, Ponds Forge Diving events, Tour de Yorkshire, local authority fun days, cycle races, Nitrus Circus Events, school sports events, Cannonball run. We provide bespoke care packages for those with complex needs. This can be 2:1 care, 24/7. Our staff are highly trained in multi-sensory impairment, learning disabilities as well as fully up to date on Basic life support. Originally specialising in supporting children with needs, our care has been so exemplary that 2 of our clients have now crossed over into adulthood whilst in our care so our staff have grown with them and learnt extra skills required for supporting adults.
