Media Events is the only in-depth and independent community for delegates, conferences and events in the media and entertainment space. Industry sectors covered include: - Cable & Broadcast - Film & Television - Music - Digital - Media - Technology - Gaming Why was it created? Lets face it, planning and attending conferences takes a lot of resources, money and organization. In our industry, especially with so much convergence and growth, there is always an event “you must attend.” From meeting with existing customers and new prospects and expanding your business internationally, to networking and learning new technologies and business models, how can you keep up with all the events in this space? After spending decades attending events around the globe as event planners, delegates and speakers, we found ourselves always coming back to the same questions (and being asked!) What events are taking place this year? Which ones should we be attending? Where are they and when? Why should I attend? Are they worth the time & money? Who will be there? What type of event is it? (seminars, exhibition hall or both?) What do past attendees think of this event? The reality is, most of these questions can only be answered after you have paid the event attendance fees, sometimes travelled across the world and attended the event. We think there needs to be a better way. So we created Media Events. Who’s behind this? The Media Events team consists of a small global network of multi-industry veterans across all sectors who just happen to know each other. We work in the industry rather than sit outside. We attend many of the events listed here, we speak at seminars and on panels, walk the exhibition halls, attend the social gatherings and network and pitch deals, host boots and carry delegate passes.
