Medicvents mission is to develop, manufacture and promote a comprehensive range of products for the evacuation of air pollution mainly within the hospital care environment. Clean air should be a given in the hospitals. This is not always the case. The health risks of breathing waste anaesthetic gas and surgical smoke are serious and well documented. Combining our double mask with our extraction technology is very efficient. The amount of harmful gas in the air is reduced by more than 90 per cent. The Swedish Work Environment Authority emphasizes the benefit of using local scavenging devices such as the double mask. Medicvent’s unique and patented double mask system was the first product to be developed. Additional products and applications have followed, all aimed at protecting hospital staff and the external environment. Medicvent’s solution for the evacuation of surgical smoke is effective, easy to handle, quiet, and does not interfere with surgery. Filtered air is evacuated out of the room through Medicvent’s central system, resulting in better air quality.
