Our team has a NHS background with knowledge of clinical coding and national tariff, so we can check you are being correctly reimbursed for NHS activity undertaken in private hospitals We take responsibility for the financial administration of your private practice, ensuring invoices are raised, paid in full and on time, therefore eliminating bad debt and allowing you to focus on patient care. If you are running your private practice as a limited company, Medisum will ensure you meet your responsibilities as a director by keeping an accurate record of all company activity, income earned and received and any unpaid invoices. Why choose Medisum over other billing and collection agencies: We offer a bespoke service to suit individual requirements. We provide a personal phone/e-mail service for patient billing queries. All client invoices have an option of electronic payment direct to your bank account, or should a patient prefer to pay by cheque, we will receive and deposit cheques into your bank account. We do not take a percentage deduction of charges from recovered fees, instead we set a monthly fee based on the level of support you require. All activity/transactions recorded in easy-to-understand format, so that you can see immediately how much you have earned in fees in a month and how much you are owed.
