About MedNorth Health Center
MedNorth Health Center (formerly New Hanover Community Health Center) receives federal grant funds to provide a full spectrum of primary and preventative health care services to medically undeserved populations in New Hanover County. Patients receive services regardless of the individuals or families ability to pay. Our service are designed to cover prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric life cycles. We are not a free clinic. Our charges for this population are based on a sliding fee scale that takes into consideration the number of persons in the family and their total income. We provide primary health care to anyone coming to us for care. We accept almost all insurances, Medicaid and Medicare.
