About Megasa
The Megasa Group is a family-owned company founded in 1953. Our main activity is focused on the production, transformation and marketing of long steel products. We have more than a thousand employees, distributed among the different production, transformation and distribution sites in the Iberian Peninsula and Europe. With an installed capacity of more than three million tonnes, we produce a wide range of long steel products using electric arc furnaces. At MEGASA we contribute to the fight against climate change and we are committed to decarbonisation by promoting sustainable steel production through circular economy and low environmental impact technologies. The use of the electric arc furnace in all our factories, the recovery of almost 100% of waste together with the implementation of sustainable criteria in all our processes allows us to generate long-term value for our customers, suppliers and society in general.
