Since then, we have grown to become the largest independent distributor of wire and strand for the prestressing and post-tensioning of concrete in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Megasteel holds extensive stocks of wire and strand in our warehouses in Felixstowe and Belfast and from these stocks we service our customers' needs. Through our international sales division we can offer wire and strand to any destination in the world. As well as prestressing and post-tensioning wire and strand, we are also a major distributor of concrete reinforcing bars ("rebar"), rebar in coil, wire rod and mesh. We are not owned by a steel mill, and act as an entirely independent steel supplier. We are proud of our reputation in the industry as a highly dependable, straightforward and long-term business partner.
