About Mekong Legal

We are two Australian lawyers (Steve & Florence) drawn to the charm and chaos of working in the emerging markets of the Mekong region. We began our separate journeys by gaining years of experience in senior roles at traditional law firms working on matters in Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. Our paths eventually crossed while working together in Laos in 2016. Bonded by our shared values and frustrations with traditional law firm models in the region, we have a vision to provide more affordable, practical and accessible legal services. Mekong Legal is the culmination of our journeys and aspirations. We established this law firm for us to practice and progress our passion in delivering quality legal services to our clients – completely online. As a new generation of lawyers, we are firm believers in the “NewLaw” approach to legal services. Our fees are provided on a fixed-fee basis with no hidden costs and no surprises.
