About Mellow Protocol

Mellow is a modular infrastructure for creating LRTs with different risk profiles. The system is permissionless, agnostic to underlying restaking protocols, and can work with any assets. Anyone can become a curator and issue LRTs tailored to the needs of their LPs. AVSes space is evolving, the number of LRTs is growing, diverse slashing mechanisms are going to be introduced very soon and it gets harder to navigate in the space. One-size-fits-all risk profile approach fails to address the diverse needs of users and tends to overexpose them to slashing risk. That’s already very visible in the market today.
