Melton College, York is a language school, exam centre and hotel – all on one beautiful, spacious campus! We run a full range of courses but our core specialities are; junior programmes, 40+ programmes and, taking these two together, family programmes. We also run exam preparation courses and, last but not least, have an established reputation for high quality, low cost group programmes for schools and universities. Based in a quiet neighbourhood, just outside the historic city walls we have York as our home, one of the top-tourist destinations in Europe and a lively, friendly and safe destination for visitors, drawn by the history, the shopping and the chance to relax in a huge range of cafes, pubs and restaurants. Melton College, established in 1963 is next door to Bishop’s our boutique 12-room hotel with its own garden and free parking. The hotel has single, double/twin and family rooms as well as a self-catering apartment for families of up to six. The hotel welcomes adults and families and our students get half-board (full-board for juniors staying with their parents. Melton College is an Official IELTS Test Centre and also a centre for Cambridge Exams.
