In 1960, visionaries and philanthropic members of Long Beach communities expanded Seaside Hospital and moved it to a new location with a new name - now called MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach. Future vision and philanthropy continue to be key elements in keeping high quality healthcare close to home. Since 1961, we have been a trusted partner with those in our community to ensure that excellence in health care is available right at home. We do this by supporting patient programs, clinical research, education, medical equipment and capital expansion at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women’s Hospital Long Beach.
