About Memory Matters
Memory Matters is a Community Interest Company (CIC). We trade for public benefit rather than private gain and all of our projects and services are designed, developed and built on the needs of those affected by dementia. We are a team of dedicated individuals who share an ethos of compassion, kindness, fun and curiosity. The team is led by co-founders Kate and Laura, qualified nurses and social entrepreneurs. In March 2017, the duo opened Moments Café in Plymouth City Centre; with a trip down memory lane for most, and a calming, friendly atmosphere for all. All profits from the Café help to sustain Memory Matters, enabling us to provide support for people living with dementia, as well as offering FREE services in our Memory Matters Hub.
