At the MSAA, we are dedicated to offering comprehensive professional support and development for our student members. Our primary goal is to equip them thoroughly, ensuring they are well-prepared to seamlessly transition into the aviation industry upon completion of our Commercial Aviation program. As an organization, we strive to serve as the pivotal bridge connecting our student members to the myriad opportunities within aviation. Community: To be an organization that establishes a setting for Memphis Aviation students to be able to build networking among the aviation industry professionals and friendships with fellow students who share a common goal. How: • By having weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly meetings and specialized events for students who join the organization. Education/Mentorship: To provide organized structured study groups among students at the same stage of training and among students who are in advanced levels of training who can mentor and tutor students in less advanced stages of training. How: • Establishing and organizing the study groups at the meetings with the help of the Educational Support Program (ESP) at the university completely educate students about opportunities in the aviation industry that they can pursue after their completion of the Aviation program. Exploration: Have Industry Professionals and Specialists come to meetings and provide education, knowledgeable advice, and Q and A’s for students about the opportunities in aviation. How: Organize events and or field trips that give students valuable experiences in aviation. Collaboration: To establish partnerships and relationships between the MSAA and Memphis Aviation program and aviation organizations to build a common goal and collaboration among the two organizations.
