Non Profit (division of The APZ Group LLC MISSION *Encouraging the reduction of violence & incarceration *Extending a lifeline for prevention & intervention *Promoting positive & productive citizens PURPOSE Increase knowledge and raise awareness of at risk youth and young adults regarding consequences of life choices, avoiding the devastating effects of drug dealing and violence in the lives of individuals and our communities. Pushing for peace and education while hoping for change among those who would benefit most. OFFERING: PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT & BASIC LIFE SKILLS - As mentors we offer an action plan with support, setting achievable goals to move your life forward in a positive direction. COURT ADVOCACY - Navigating you through the system, Removing Barriers: Record Expungement, License Reinstatement, Assistance with Child Support EDUCATION SUPPORT & JOB READINESS -Assist with GED & Diploma Programs, Group Sessions for education regarding choices & consequences. USING MEDIA PRESENTATIONS - We involve youth using appealing art forms including music, creative skits & film. INTERVENTION & PREVENTION -While all youth are at risk for possible failure, a high risk youth is most apt to get caught up in a life of crime and less likely to transition successfully into adulthood without intervention. FOUNDER, AARON PULLINS III, OUTREACH ADVOCATE (15+ YEARS) --Assisting returning citizens, those that have been adjudicated through the system & those at risk. Offering prevention & intervention for youth and young adults from involvement with violence and drugs. We provide resources and remove barriers that encourage our target population, helping them to become productive citizens.
