About Men of Valor Ministry

Men of Valor, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency, has been working to provide essential re-entry programs to men in prison and leaving prison in Middle Tennessee since 1997. We encourage these men with the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we welcome them into the family of God, we train them in the Biblical principles of manhood, and with a very structured plan, we help them to become the men, husbands, fathers, and members of society that God created them to be. We meet men in prison with our intensive faith-based reentry programming five days a week, nine hours a day. Upon release, follow-up aftercare includes a minimum of 12 months of continued mentoring, assistance with finding a job, housing and a church home. When these men are released they are well equipped with the tools necessary to permanently change their lives and the legacy they leave for their families.
